Last week on my two days off I had my first paddle tour (by tour I mean paddling app. 2 miles with gear, camping over night, and heading out in the morning)! I have been wanting to explore bringing gear (for a camp out) on the rig for a long time. All in all the Reveer (Stand on Liquid) performed like a champ. The only folly are the wakes the motorized boats produce. Tons of water rolled over the bow, however, since there is no enclosed chamber on a paddle board, the water just washed off and no gear ever gets submerged. This means a dry bag isn’t even necessary. I have been experimenting with different water resistant options and have had good results. Accept for the Canon of coarse, the camera always goes in a dry bag!
